based on research and a past development with phonegap, I realized that making use of CSS3/JQuery/HTML really slows down an app. That is why I went here to start working with appcelerator because I heard that this platform formulates a native-app feel in its output.
I am currently developing a magazine app and I would just like to know. If for example, I make use of Appcelerator's API to create 10 pages and in 1 particular page, I made use of a webview, will that act significantly slow down my app? Or will it just slow down that particular page? I recently developed an all HTML/CSS3/JQuery magazine app with phonegap and the results were just horrible in terms of performance.
So what do you think? Shall I continue with my plan in using the API in most pages and using the HTML technology in particular pages? Thanks and God Bless!
